The PICO machine cuts round dowels or round end tenons on chair and case goods components. PICO cuts horizontal or vertical tenons on three compound angles sim-ultaneously without the use of special fixtures. The PICO machine is equipped with the exclusive, patented Balestrini anti-splitting cycle. With this system, the tables are fixed and the tool always enters the wood with the grain (climb cutting) and eliminates any tear-out.

The PICO machine base is thermally heat treated and rectified for exact precision. The working cycle is fully automatic with the cutterhead alternating between tables. While one table is being loaded, the other table is machining a workpiece, thus no idle production time. The head moves on hardened steel bars with linear ball bearings. PICO’s quality electrics are enclosed in a dust proof control cabinet.
